Support for Net Zero and Local Manufacturing

Frontier Power is stepping up its deployment of long-duration electricity storage (LDES) to support the UK’s Net Zero targets, create new jobs and boost British manufacturing. The company welcomes Ofgem’s decision to move 16 of its LDES projects—totalling about 2.6 GW and 20 GWh—on to the next stage of the regulator’s Cap and Floor scheme.
