The technologies required for modern power systems have fundamentally different operating characteristics and can vary in particular economic and geographical circumstances. The Frontier Power team has had responsibility for developing the full range of generation technologies including renewables and storage and are experts in developing and operating both high and low voltage networks both on and offshore. 

In recent years, Frontier Power has developed a unique set of capabilities to understand the operating dynamics and economics of offshore transmission networks. These include managing health and safety, optimising asset management to maintain high levels of asset availability within tight financial constraints,  managing operations and maintenance contractors, managing subsea cable integrity and offshore cable repairs where necessary, managing placement and renewal of insurance cover, stakeholder management, managing regulatory  compliance and reporting, negotiating crossing agreements and managing governance and liaison with SPV shareholders and lenders.
